On supported Apple devices, IronLedger can write completed strength workouts to Apple Health and use permitted body-weight data when estimating workout energy.

Connect Apple Health

1

Open integrations

From Settings, open Apple Health.
2

Review the explanation

Read which data IronLedger requests and why. Continue to the system permission sheet.
3

Choose permissions

Enable the categories you want to share. Apple controls the permission interface.
4

Sync completed workouts

Finish a workout in IronLedger. Use the recent-workout sync option when you need to process eligible past sessions.

Energy estimates

IronLedger estimates strength-training energy using workout duration and body weight. The value is an estimate, not a direct measurement of calories burned.
Apple does not let apps reliably display whether every Health write permission is currently enabled. Manage individual permissions in the Health app or iOS Settings.
Apple Health is unavailable in the iOS simulator. Test the connection on a physical device.
