# Analytics

> Use IronLedger volume, frequency, and strength trends to understand training progress.

The **Analytics** tab turns completed workout sets into training trends. Use it to ask focused
questions rather than treating one chart as a complete assessment.

## Common views

* Training frequency over time
* Volume trends
* Exercise-specific performance
* Personal-record progression
* Estimated strength changes

## Interpret trends carefully

Compare periods with similar exercise selection, range of motion, rep ranges, and effort. A change
in program structure can move a chart without representing the same change in strength.

<Tip>
  Open an exercise from Analytics when you need the underlying sessions. The workout history often
  explains a spike or drop better than the summary chart alone.
</Tip>

<Warning>
  Short-term performance is affected by fatigue, sleep, illness, equipment, and technique. Use
  several sessions before changing a program based on one result.
